■ Wet materials are fed continously to the first dry plate on the top of the drier and will be continously turned by the rotary motion of rake. Material flows over the dry-plate along exponential helical line. Materials on the small dry-plate will be moved to outer margin and fall on the outer margin of larger dry-plate, then they will be moved inwards and dropped on the lower small plate from the middle blanking port. Small and large dry plates arranged alternately upper and lower to make the materials flow the whole drier continously. The hollow dry-plate will be entered with heating mediums such as saturated steam, hot-water and heat transfer oil which get into from one end and out from another. The already dried materials will fall on the bottom of chamber from the last plate and finally be discharged. Moisture overflows from materials and will be discharged by the moisture removing port at the top cover. And the moisture of vacuum plate drier will be pumped by the vacuum pump at the top cover. The dry materials which are discharged from the bottom can be packed directly. By using the auxiliaries such as finned tube heater, solvent recovery condenser, bag-type clooector, dry-material back mixing structure, induced-draft fan, to increase the production capacity. For drying paste and thermosensitive materials, it is easy to recycle solvent and operate pyrolysis and reactions.
Summary:
■ Plate-type continuous drier, which is a high-efficiency transmitting continuous drier, features high heat-efficiency, low energy consumption, small land area, simple arrangement, easy to operate, good operating environment, etc. and is widely used in the drying insudtries such as chemical industry, pharmacy, pesticide, food, fodder, agricultural processing. Now it has three types of ordinary pressure, obturation and vacuum. Besides, there are four specifications of 1200, 1500, 2200, 3000; three materials of A (carbon steel), B (All parts contacting with materials are stainless steel), C ( on the base of B, to add the stainless steel steam pipeline, mian-shaft and support; inner stainless steel of main-body and cover). The dry area could be 4 to 180 m2. There are several hundreds models and every one could be matched with suitable auxiliaries to satisfy any materials’ requirements for drying.

1. Easy to control, strong applicability.
(1) By adjusting the materials thickness, the rotating speed of main-shaft, peddle type and size to make the drying process best.
(2) Every dry-plate can be injectted the heat-mediums alone to heat or cool materials and control temperature precisely and easily.
(3) Materials residence time can be adjusted precisely.
(4) Materials flow singlely without any back mixing phenomenon; uniform dry; stable quality; no need of mixing.
2. Easy and simple to operate
(1) Startup and stop of dry is very simple.
(2) When material feeding is stop, peddles can move all the materials out of the drier quickly.
(3) Through the special and large specification viewing mirror on the viewing door, you can clean and watch the inner equipment carefully.
3. Low energy consumption
(1) Bed of material is very thin; rotating speed of main-shaft is slow; the power for materials supply system is small and power consumption is low too.
(2) By using transmitting heat to dry, the heat efficiency is high and energu consumption is low.
4. (1)Ordinary pressure type: because of the airflow speed is slow in the equipment and the moisture distribution is higher at the top and lower at the bottom, the powder dust can’t float to the top, so the tail gas which is discharged from the top nearly contents no dust.
(2) Obturation type: To equip solvent recovery device to convient the recovery of the organic solvent in the mositure. The solvent recovery device is simple and has high recovery rate; particularly, for drying inflammable, explosive, toxic and easily oxidized materials, it can use nitrogen to be mositure-load air to do the closed-circuit safely. So that, it is especially suitable for drying inflammable, explosive and toxic materials.
(3)Vacuum type: The plate drier used under vacuum state is especially suitable for drying thermosensitive materials.
5. East yo install and small land area
(1)Whole drier is transportted outside factory, only needs to be hosited in position, that’s very simple.
(2) Because of the vertical distribution od dry-plates and vertical installation of drier, even the dry area is large, the land area is small.
