1,Appearance:Industrial solid sodium methoxide is white powder without any impurity.

Industrial solid sodium methoxide should be in accordance with the requirement of Table 1.

3,Use:
It is mainly used to produce medicine, such as Vitamin A1, Vitamin B1, sulfadoxine, sulfapyridine, methoxybenzyl aminopyrimidine, etc. It also can be used in pesticide, treating food fat and food catalyst, or used as analytical reagent.
4,Packing and storage:
Sodium methoxide is toxic and flammable matter, so the packing, storage and transportation should be cautious. The package should be closed and marked :flammable" and "toxic",25kg in plastic bag with the characteristics of no-leakage, clear and dry.
Sodium methoxide should be stored in cool, dry and ventilated warehouse, far from heat, fire and insolation. Pay attention to the tightness of package and avoid damping and moisture immersion. When loading it, the workers should wear protective mask to prevent the corrosive burn and toxic hazard.
