Molecular Formula: NaBH4
CAS No.: 16940-66-2
Physicochemical Properties:
It is a white crystal powder or granule with hygroscopicity. It is soluble in water and will be decomposed to release hydrogen. The decomposition rate is relatively faster under acidic conditions than under alkaline conditions.

Function:
Sodium Borohydride, as a water soluble reductant, is milder and more stable than sodium borohydride. It can be often use in drug production, pulp bleaching and precious metals recovery, etc. Meanwhile, it can also be applied as a reductant for carbonyl compounds (like aldehydes, ketones, acids, acid amides, acid anhydrides, halogen acids, esters, enol esters, imides and lactones), carbon nitrides (like azides, diazonium salts, hydrazones, imides, nitriles, oximes and nitro compounds, etc), peroxides and hydroperoxides. In addition, it can be used for refining, removing the colors and odors in the organic products, oxidizing the parent compounds, controlling the pollution in the photo-taking and metal finishing industry, recovering precious metals, manufacturing fine chemicals and pharmaceuticals, preparing and recovering catalysts.
Packing & Storage:
25 KG/barrel (we can also customize according to the customers' request)
During transportation, packing damages and dampening should be avoided. Sources of heat, ignition and inflammable materials should be kept away from it. It should be separated from water containing materials, acidic materials and oxidants during storage and transportation process. It is stored in the specialized chemical warehouse that is cool, dry and well ventilated.
