Usage: These esters make Sustanon one of the longest-lasting steroid compounds available today. It is an ideal compound for putting on size and increasing muscle strength.
Description:
Most testosterones are defined by their name; for example, Testosterone-Enanthate is called so because it is a testosterone with the Enanthate ester attached; pretty simple. However, there is no Sustanon ester, Sustanon-250 refers to a blend of 4 varying ester based testosterones each with a varying half-life mixed together in varying doses. The total mixture, which gives us 250mg per milliliter is as follows:
Testosterone-Propionate 30mg
Testosterone-Phenylpropionate 60mg
Testosterone-Isocaproate - 60mg
Testosterone-Decanoate -100mg
With this mixture we have two relatively fast esters in Propionate and Phenylpropionate, a moderate size ester in Isocaproate and a very long ester in Decanoate. Once injected testosterone will be released at a fairly even rate regarding milligrams for a month, making this a near perfect HRT medication but for performance purposes this will not do. Because of the short esters attached, to maintain peak testosterone levels Sustanon-250 must at a minimum be injected every three days with every other day administration being far more optimal because of the Propionate ester attached.
Sustanon is a synthetic steroid derived from Testosterone. It is both anabolic and androgenic. It comes primarily in an injectable form. There are a few variations of this particular drug, but the most popular is the one made of a blend of four distinct ester compounds in varying amounts: Testosterone Propionate (30mg), Testosterone Phenylpropionate (60mg), Testosterone Isocaproate (60mg) and Testosterone Decanoate (100mg). This is known as Sustanon 250.
Applications:
Sustanon is most commonly used in Hormone Replacement Therapy (HRT) for men who are lacking sufficient levels of Testosterone. As it is anabolic it will treat symptoms related to low Testosterone levels such as loss in muscle mass and unusual fatigue, and its androgenic properties encourage the secondary male sex characteristics to grow and be maintained. Because of these abilities, Sustanon is often used by bodybuilders and performance enhancers, both male and female. It is not usually recommended that women use Sustanon as it can have harmful side effects or it could result in the unwanted appearance of masculine characteristics such as facial hair. However, the drug has many benefits for men other than these abilities such as helping men to cope with the Andropause and other issues which occur due to low Testosterone levels.
Sustanon 250 Dosages
250mg per Week
At a usage level of 250 mg/week, Sustanon provides basically only a high level of testosterone replacement therapy. Individuals with low testosterone may see a marked improvement, but many with mid-normal or high natural testosterone will see little added effect at this dosage level. Yet, Sustanon is suppressive of the hypothalamus and pituitary at this dosage and will largely shut down natural testosterone production while being used. So, this dosage has relatively little of the benefits of most steroid cycles, but shares the adverse side effect of suppressed testosterone production.
500mg per Week
500 mg/week is a minimal dosage level for most to see good results. At this dosage, gains are typically good for a first cycle and often no ancillary drug is required to control estrogen. But in many instances, estrogen control is already desirable.
750mg per Week
The next step up of 750 mg/week provides a noticeable further increase in gains, and if estrogen is controlled, side effects are generally not much different than at 500 mg/week.
1,000mg per Week
A dose of 1,000 mg/week is generally sufficient for intermediate to even many advanced users. In some cases, even more than this is used. However, this generally is not necessary unless results have reached a plateau already at the 1 g/week level.
