China's commercial crude inventories at the end of June climbed 3.2% month-on-month, according to the data released by China National Petroleum Corporation.
The country's crude throughput in June declined to 35.55-mil mt, down by 7.58% from the previous month, showed the data from the National Bureau of Statistics. This was because of converging maintenance in the month, C1 found.
Meanwhile, its crude imports dropped 8.58% month-on-month to the lowest level this year, and its crude output slipped 1.62% to 17.15-mil mt, indicated the data from the General Administration of Customs and NBS.
With national strategic petroleum reserves taken into account, China's crude inventories were equal to about 66 days of net imports or 37 days of consumption, C1's data showed.
Domestic major refiners' crude inventories comprise stocks in refineries, stocks in pipelines and commercial stocks.
