Chile imported 170,300 mt of LNG in November, up 10.4% from 154,257 mt in November 2014, energy ministry data showed Tuesday.
All of the LNG was imported from Trinidad and Tobago.
Imports from the start of the year totaled 2.609 million mt, up 8% from 2.415 million mt in the same period of 2014.
Trinidad and Tobago was the source of 92.1% of the LNG imported by Chile through November, followed by Equatorial Guinea (4.9%) and Norway (2.9%).
Chile has two LNG terminals -- Quintero in central Chile, which is supplied by BG Group, and Mejillones in the north, operated by Engie.
