Argentina produced 404,900 mt of crude steel in November, down 12.2% year on year, national steel association Camara Argentina del Acero said Tuesday.
Month on month, production fell 13.6%. In January-November, Argentina produced 4.65 million mt, down 7.7% from a year earlier.
Hot-rolled coil production during November was 398,200 mt, down 6.5% on the year and 3.4% on the month.
Cold-rolled coil output was 113,200 mt, a 15.3% drop from November 2014, but a rise of 6.5% from October.
Primary iron production (sponge iron and pig iron) was 354,200 mt in November, an 8.2% fall from November 2014 and also down 7.4% from October.
