Russian acrylonitrile butadiene styrene imports dropped 18% year on year in October to 3,269 mt, data released Monday by the Russian Federal Customs Service showed.
On a month-on-month basis, imports were up a marginal 3% from 3,187 mt imported in November, data showed.
South Korea was the largest exporter of ABS into Russia during October and exported 2,225 mt of the product.
ABS exports out of Russia have been minimal through 2014 and 2015 and in October, the country exported just 242 mt of the product.
ABS is used in the production of automotive components, packaging and protective headgear.
