Yan'an Refinery has recently restarted 3-mil-mt/yr crude distillate unit, but it is yet to resume normal oil product production, a refinery source told C1.
A 1.2-mil-mt/yr reformer will be restarted in the near term, said the source.
Yan'an Refinery shut some units for month-long maintenance from Jun 4, C1 reported earlier.
Yan'an Refinery, located in Northwest China’s Shaanxi Province, is one of the three subsidiary refineries of Shaanxi Yanchang Petroleum Group. The refinery has a topping capacity of 8-mil mt per year, with secondary processing capacity reaching 4-mil mt per year. It normally produces 7,000mt of gasoline and 8,600mt of gasoil per month.
