BlueStar Petrochemical (Tianjin) resumed normal operation Monday after it restarted units in late June, according to a refinery source.
The resumption was about 45 days longer than scheduled because of refining losses on high crude costs, the source said.
The refinery produces 700-800mt per day of gasoline and gasoil in total at the moment, the source said.
BlueStar Petrochemical (Tianjin) entered overall turnaround on Apr 7, originally scheduled to be complete in about 15 days.
BlueStar Petrochemical (Tianjin), located in North China’s Tianjin City, has a topping capacity of 1.5-mil mt per year.
