European LNG re-exports fell 72% year on year in September, data from Eclipse Energy, an analytics unit of Platts, showed Monday.
Belgium, France, the Netherlands, Portugal, Spain and the UK reloaded a total of 0.23 Bcm of gas equivalent, compared with 0.83 Bcm in the same month in 2014.
This level of exports is below the monthly average in 2015 of 0.42 Bcm, and also below exports for July (0.45 Bcm) and August (0.81 Bcm). It is also below the monthly average in 2014 of 0.659 Bcm.
LNG imports to the named countries, however, remained relatively constant, with September deliveries of 3.03 Bcm in line with average monthly imports of 3.04 Bcm for 2015.
