China supplied 454,750mt of jet to international flight in May, sharply up 234% from the previous month, according to data released by the General Administration of Customs.
The volume accounted for 56% of China's total jet exports in the period, up 29 percentage points year-on-year.
The exports fluctuated sharply on month in 2011 probably due to delayed customs clearance of some cargoes, market sources pointed out.
China’s exports of jet by the name of bonded goods plunged 39% on month to 60,701mt in May, indicated the data.
The country exported 267,922mt of jet produced from supplied materials in the month, slightly down 5% on month, most of which were destined for Hong Kong, Macao, Vietnam and Singapore, the GAC data showed.
In addition, China exported 40,301mt of jet to North Korea under feeding processing trade and exported 4,578mt to North Korea by the name of general trade.
