Germany's BASF will hike prices of its polymer dispersions and additives by Eur85/mt and prices of its acrylic resins by Eur140/mt, with effect from Monday, the company said.
The company did not provide prices after the increase in its statement Monday.
BASF said the price increases, which are for the European, African and Western Asian regions, were necessary due to high costs of raw materials and freight.
The products affected by the price hike are used as polymers for adhesives, fiberbonding, architectural coatings and construction chemicals.
