The Work Outline of Health and Family Planning of 2015 issued by the National Health and Family Planning Commission (NHFPC) of the P.R.C. on January 23 listed the key tasks by reference to the previous first press conference held by it.
Wherein, in the aspect of consolidating and improving the essential drugs system and new operating mechanism of the basic level, the following are added: implementing assessment of 2012 version National Essential Drug List and launching revision of Measures on the Administration of National Essential Drugs List; strengthening management of equipping and using of pharmaceutical products for the basic level, formulating opinions that can promote rational drug use for the old, conducting trial and promotion of the empirical formula of TCM, and establishing and improving comprehensive clinical evaluation system for the Chinese national essential drugs and drugs for the children.
In the aspect of improving the guarantee system for pharmaceutical product supply, the following are added: comprehensively launching standardization construction of the centralized purchasing platform for pharmaceutical products, normalizing and promoting "sunshine purchase" of high-value medical consumables; strengthening construction of the guarantee information system for pharmaceutical product supply and realizing interconnection.
The following are also added: establishing monitoring points for inadequate pharmaceutical products as well as the guarantee system for supply of inadequate pharmaceutical products based on the first-aid (rescue) pharmaceutical products, and continuing to promote the trial of designated production of partial essential drugs urgently needed clinically and but with a small dosage and the guarantee work for drugs for children; driving the docking of the medical information system and the Chinese National Drug Electronic Supervision System; continuing to promote the trial of designated production of partial essential drugs urgently needed clinically but with a small dosage and the guarantee work for drugs for children; driving the docking of the medical information system and the Chinese National Drug Electronic Supervision System.
