The Provincial Government of Guizhou, China has recently introduced New Pharmaceutical Industry Development Planning of Guizhou Province (2014-2017) to start to implement the “Giant Plan”, which plans to forge over 12 pharmaceutical large groups with over 2 billion yuan in 3 years, and Yibai Pharmaceutical, Xinbang Pharmaceutical and Guizhou Bailing are brought into industrial planning for strengthened cultivation, therein: Yibai Pharmaceutical will be the first to become the pharmaceutical large group of 10 billion yuan level. It's worth noting that Guizhou Salvage Pharmaceutical Co., Ltd., which is to purchase its parent company Chitianhua Group, is also included in the cultivation plan.
It is learnt that there have been up to 66 projects concentrated for commencement recently in Guizhou Province, covering TCM, ethnic drug, chemical drug, bio-pharmaceutical, medical apparatus and instruments, R&D service and health preservation and other industries. Therein, the total investment of Xiuzheng Pharmaceutical Industrial Park project is RMB 5 billion yuan, the total investment of Shenqi Intelligent Ecological Aging Complex (Phase I) is 3.2 billion yuan, Youcare Pharmaceutical invests 1.5 billion yuan to develop Youcare Pharmaceutical Industrial Park, and Guizhou Yibaida Health Pharmaceutical Group Co., Ltd. invests 0.7 billion yuan to establish Yibaida Health Pharmaceutical Production Base.
According to the “Giant Plan”, Guizhou Province will introduce and cultivate a batch of competitive large pharmaceutical groups, of which the cultivation square matrix includes: one enterprise cultivation object of 10 billion yuan level, i.e., Yibai Pharmaceutical: one enterprise cultivation object of 5 billion yuan level, i.e., Guizhou Bailing: over 10 enterprise cultivation objects of 2 billion yuan level, including Xinbang Pharmaceutical and Salvage Pharmaceutical, which is now taking over equity of its parent company Chitianhua Group from State-owned Assets Supervision and Administration Commission of Guizhou Province.
