Coal stocks at China's four major Bohai Sea ports rose 976,000 mt or 5.1% week on week to 20.146 million mt on October 5, Qinhuangdao Port said Wednesday.
Coal stocks at Qinhuangdao Port slipped 2.7% week on week to 6.13 million mt on Sunday.
However, stocks at Caofeidian Port inched up 0.5% on week to 5.88 million mt; stocks at Tianjin Port edged rose 1.4% to 2.84 million mt; and stocks at Jingtang Port jumped 25.6% to 5.30 million mt.
The number of vessels queuing at the four ports totaled 91 on Sunday, up from 62 a week ago, Qinhuangdao Port said.
