Eastman will increase Americas prices for acetic acid, effective July 1, the company said in a notice to customers.
Eastman will raise prices for glacial acetic acid and dilute acetic acid by 3 cents ($66/mt) in North America and Latin America.
Platts most recently assessed acetic acid Thursday at $655/mt FOB USG.
