There is still space to ship propane on cycle 4B on the TEPPCO pipeline, Enterprise said in a notice to shippers Thursday.
Enterprise created cycle 4B in response to an emergency order by the Federal Energy Regulatory Commission to increase propane deliveries from Texas to the Midwest and Northeast.
Enterprise created an additional 350,000 barrels of propane capacity with cycle 4B and some of the additional volumes started injection into the pipeline Thursday, Enterprise said in an earlier notice.
Enterprise said some TEPPCO shippers elected not to participate in the new cycle and that those on allocation would be able to increase their volumes.
TEPPCO is a refined products pipeline that originates in the Gulf Coast and terminates in the Northeast. The pipeline also has a lateral that takes product into the Chicago market.
