Sinopec Shijiazhuang Refinery saw increasing LPG output after it restarted 800,000-mt/yr fluid catalytic cracker on Apr 24, according to a refinery source.
The refinery is expected to supply about 600mt per day of LPG in the near term because of unstable run state of the newly-restarted unit, reckoned local distributors, which showed low buying interest amid price drops in southern China.
With Shijiazhuang Refinery's LPG production resumed, LPG commodity output in North China is estimated to rise 9.4% to 4,320mt daily.
Shijiazhuang Refinery shut the 800,000-mt/yr FCC for maintenance around Mar 23, C1 reported earlier.
Shijiazhuang Refinery, located in North China's Hebei Province, has a topping capacity of 5-mil mt per year with complexity ratio hitting 80%.
