China Petroleum & Chemical Corp, or Sinopec, has raised its East China price for isomer-grade mixed xylenes by Yuan 200/mt or 2.3% effective Monday, market sources said Tuesday.
The company's isomer-MX ex-works price at its four subsidiaries in East China -- Sinopec Zhenhai, Sinopec Nanjing, Sinopec Jiujiang and Yangzi-BASF -- is now Yuan 9,000/mt, or $1,209/mt on an import parity basis.
The solvent-grade mixed xylenes are being offered at Yuan 8,650/mt, unchanged from last amendment on August 15, when it was increased by Yuan 150/mt.
Sinopec last adjusted its isomer-MX prices in East China on August 15, when it increased the price by Yuan 100/mt to Yuan 8,800/mt.
