Northeast China produced 1.32-mil mt of gasoline in March, occupying 19.87% of China's total, still higher than any other regions, showed data from the National Bureau of Statistics.
Northwest China took the second place with 1.16-mil mt, followed by South China with 1.05-mil mt, according to the data.
Northeast and Northwest China with major refineries clustering are always top two gasoline producers in China, market sources pointed out.
The NBS data also indicated that Northeast China yielded 4.12-mil mt of gasoline in total in January-February, still ranking the first.
