Total exports of green petroleum coke (GPC) by Sinopec and PetroChina were estimated to mount up to 170,000mt in April, including 14,2500mt from Sinopec and 25,000mt from PetroChina, C1's research found.
April exports by the two oil giants were 113% higher than March, because they beefed up supplies to oversea markets in view of excessive supplies at home, an industry source pointed out.
In addition, FOB prices of Chinese low-sulfur GPC with around 1% of sulfur contents were at US$325-340/mt at present, a marketer revealed.
