US propane and propylene stocks rose 500,000 barrels to nearly 41 million barrels the reporting week ended Friday, the Energy Information Administration said Wednesday.
Midwest supplies rose 366,000 barrels to 11.94 million barrels, while East Coast supplies increased by 451,000 barrels to 1.94 million barrels, Gulf Coast stocks fell 357,000 barrels to 26.29 million barrels and West Coast/Rocky Mountain inventories increased by 60,000 barrels to 824,000 barrels.
Propane and propylene for nonfuel use decreased by 200,000 barrels to 3.7 million barrels.
