Austria's Borealis has acquired Netherlands-based DEXPlastomers from ExxonMobil Chemical Company and Royal DSM, the Austrian petrochemical company said in a statement issued Monday. No financial details were given.
DEXPlastomers, founded in 1996 as a 50/50 joint venture between DSM and Exxon Chemical Holland Ventures, produces C8 plastomers and linear low density polyethylene.
DEXPlastomers' product range complements Borealis' current portfolio and is aligned with the company's innovation strategy, the Austrian company said in November last year when it first announced its plan to acquire DEXPlastomers.
