European gas pipeline capacity platform PRISMA is to publish monthly auction reports on its website to provide transparency on details of finished auctions, PRISMA said Tuesday.
Auction data will be available back to August 2011 and includes details on shippers' requests to upgrade capacity from interruptible to firm.
"Shippers will be able to get an overview on auction results and about the market demand at network points more easily," PRISMA said. "The monthly reports can not only be viewed by registered users but also by everyone interested in the information."
PRISMA said it would work to make more information available in the future.
PRISMA is a platform set up by network operators from Austria, Belgium, Denmark, Germany, France, Italy and the Netherlands to jointly allocate primary capacity in European gas pipelines.
The new platform will be fully launched in April 2013 and allow the offering of harmonized capacity products, allowing users to book space at various European network connections through one single platform.
It builds on the experience of existing platforms Capsquare, Link4Hubs and TRAC-X.
