Malaysia's crude palm oil stocks surged 25.8% year on year to 1.6 million mt in September, Malaysian Palm Oil Board data showed Wednesday.
Average stocks over January-September rose 8.5% year on year to 1.06 million, the data showed.
CPO production in Malaysia totaled 2 million mt in September, up 7.2% year on year, and over January-September was down 5% from a year earlier at 13.2 million mt.
Malaysia's CPO exports in September rose 4.5% to 1.5 million mt from 1.4 million mt in August. Exports to China comprised 325,381 mt, up 20.9% month on month, and exports to India 313,169 mt, up 15.5% over the same period.
