Prices for ethanol sold in Brazil's Sao Paulo state, the country's biggest fuel trading and consuming hub, were virtually unchanged on the reporting week ended Friday, agricultural research institute CEPEA/ESALQ said Tuesday.
Hydrous ethanol to be collected at Sao Paulo's producing mills was quoted at Reais 1.0521/liter ($1.9478/gallon), down 0.67% from the previous week.
Anhydrous ethanol stood at Reais 1.2617/liter, 0.63% lower than the previous week.
Both prices reflected ethanol parcels free of federal and state taxes and free of freight costs.
