Styropack Begg's approval for Scottish EPS recycling facility
Dame Anne Begg MP has opened an EPS recycling point at Styropack's operation in Aberdeen, a facility that the packaging firm is promoting to local business. Online butcher Donald Russell, which has many customers in the area, is supporting the initiative by informing them about the opportunity to put their discarded boxes to good use.

Dame Anne said: "Like many people, I was under the impression that polystyrene could not be recycled as it doesn't feature at any of the recycling points across the city. However, I was delighted to learn that it is possible to recycle polystyrene and for the first time in Aberdeen households have somewhere to deposit their polystyrene."
