Total US propane and propylene stocks rose 1.3 million barrels, to 66 million barrels, during the week ended Friday, July 20, data from the Energy Information Administration showed Wednesday.
Midwest supplies rose 500,000 barrels to 26.9 million barrels, East Coast supplies were down 100,000 barrels to 5.8 million barrels and Gulf Coast stocks climbed 600,000 barrels to 30.9 million barrels, the data showed.
Stocks of propylene for non-fuel use rose 200,000 barrels to 4.6 million barrels.
US propane and propylene stocks were nearly 37% higher than the same time last year, the data showed.
