Sinopec Guangzhou Petrochemical is scheduled to process 20,000-30,000mt per month of condensate from March, C1 learned from a refinery source.
The refinery has begun refining Iran's South Pars condensate since February, with throughput at about 20,000mt, the source said.
Sinopec signed an agreement with the National Iranian Oil Company (NIOC) to purchase 3-mil mt of condensate in 2011, as C1 reported earlier. Currently, the resource was provided to Guangzhou Petrochemical, Tianjin Petrochemical, Maoming Petrochemical and Zhenhai Refining & Chemical.
