Sinopec Maoming Petrochemical plans to refine 1.25-mil mt of crude during March, with daily throughput unchanged at 40,000mt from the previous month, according to a source with the refinery.
Maoming Petrochemical started to process Iran's South Pars condensate at the end of January and it set monthly throughput target at 90,000mt this year, as C1 reported earlier.
Maoming Petrochemical, located in Maoming City of South China's Guangdong Province, has an annual topping capacity of 13.5-mil mt. It mainly consumes high-sulfur crude from the Middle East and supplies most oil products to South and Southwest China.
