The Conway, Kansas, propane assessment for June delivery slumped 4.50 cents to 55 cents/gal, the lowest value in nine years.

On May 7, 2003, Platts assessed Conway propane at 53.25 cents/gal.

The US EIA reported a 1.6 million-barrel build in propane stocks last week, which was in line with market expectations, a broker noted.

Stocks of propane for the Midwest region were up by 900,000 barrels, totaling 21.9 million barrels, a figure up by more than 50% from the same period last year.

Gulf Coast non-LST propane fell 1.75 cents from Wednesday to 76.25 cents/gal, reflecting the lowest value in nearly three years.
