Price trend
According to the commodity market analysis system of the business community, the price trend of cryolite in June was stable. On June 30, the average market price in Henan was 7,850 RMB/ton, unchanged from the price of 7,850 RMB/ton at the beginning of the month, with a year-on-year increase of 3.29%.
Analysis review
In June, the domestic cryolite market mainly operated on a wait-and-see basis. During the month, cryolite enterprises' quotations were stable, upstream construction was low, and raw material prices supported well. Cryolite enterprises were under pressure in production, and market quotations were stable. Downstream parties followed up on demand when entering the market to get goods. Their enthusiasm was average. Cryolite enterprises' shipments were OK, and market prices were stable.
On the upstream side, the domestic fluorite market slightly decreased in June. Due to environmental and safety requirements, mining enterprises had low operating rates, fluorite spot prices were tight, fluorite prices remained high, demand side hydrofluoric acid prices had declined, and the refrigerant market had declined. Downstream had a negative impact on the fluorite market, and the increase in fluorite prices was limited. As of the end of the month, the average price of fluorite was 3,117.5 RMB/ton, a decrease of 0.83% compared to the beginning price of 3,143.75 RMB/ton.
The downstream aluminum market fluctuated and rose in June. At the end of the month, the average price of domestic aluminum ingots in the East China market was 18,566.67 RMB/ton, an increase of 0.83% compared to the average market price of 18,413.33 RMB/ton at the beginning of the month. In June, electrolytic aluminum was slightly destocking, and terminal market consumption was still acceptable, and the aluminum market slightly rose.
Market outlook
Cryolite enterprises had a wait-and-see attitude, the quotation was stable, raw material spot was tight, and cost support was good. Cryolite enterprises were actively shipping, downstream procurement was mainly on demand, demand was not good enough, supply and demand in the market was deadlocked. It is expected that the market cryolite will be sorted out in a range in the later period.
