Analysis review
CPL market prices rose this week. The price of raw material pure benzene fluctuated slightly, and cost support was still acceptable. The spot supply of CPL market decreased this week, and many enterprises raised prices slightly. The willingness to restock of downstream had increased, with low price transactions being the main focus. As of June 9, the delivery price of liquid CPL in East China of Shandong Hualu Hengsheng was 12,200 RMB/ton. The self-delivered settlement price of Sinopec high-end high-quality liquid CPL was 12,840 RMB/ton.
The price fluctuation of raw material pure benzene was very small this week. As of June 9th, the reference average price of pure benzene in China was 6,505 RMB/ton. Crude oil stopped falling and rebounded, while pure benzene in East China fluctuated and sorted out. The domestic price of pure benzene was between 6,383-6,600 RMB/ton. This week, the price of Sinopec pure benzene remained stable at 6,500 RMB/ton.
Market outlook
CPL analysts from SunSirs believe that the price of raw material pure benzene hwas adjusted in a narrow range recently, and the cost side was mainly stable with slight fluctuations. Under the situation of reduced market supply, downstream procurement demand increased. It is expected that the market price of CPL will be stable and improved in the short term.
