The average price of industrial-grade sodium metabisulfite at the beginning of the week was 3,200.00 RMB/ton, and the average price at the weekend was 3,100.00 RMB/ton, down 3.12% during the week.
Analysis review
This week, the overall performance of the domestic industrial-grade sodium metabisulfite market was average. In order to stimulate shipments, some companies slightly lowered the ex-factory price of metabisulfite, which drove the domestic market price of sodium metabisulfite to continue to run weakly this week. The price range of industrial grade sodium metabisulfite was 2,900-3,300 RMB/ton, and most prices were concentrated around 3,000 RMB/ton. Enterprise inventory was about 30%, mainly to complete the orders of old customers.
In the first half of July, the domestic price of soda ash fell slightly by 1.03%, the price of sulfur fell sharply by 50.69%, and the price of raw materials fell sharply. The cost will further suppress the domestic sodium metabisulfite market price in the future.
