Key points of analysis: on June 8, the spot price of Softwood pulp fell slightly, and the pulp futures price fluctuated weakly. The opening price of sp2209 contract was 7232 RMB/ton, and the closing price was 7180 RMB/ton, a daily decrease of 0.8%.
At present, the disturbance factors at the supply side continue. AKI pulp plant under Fenbao will reduce its supply due to equipment problems, while some Russian manufacturers will also reduce their domestic supply, which will support the pulp market. Under the high cost, the domestic paper mills have limited profit margin, and the construction of downstream paper mills has increased slightly, but the market trading and investment are flat, and the overall demand performance is average.
Aftermarket forecast: pulp futures continued to fluctuate in a narrow range, and the downstream was still dominated by rigid demand. The change in spot price was small. The industry was in a strong wait-and-see mood. It is expected that the short-term wood pulp price will continue to fluctuate and consolidate.
