As of August 13, the ex factory price of Qilu SBR 1502 of Sinopec North China sales company was 13,200 RMB/ ton. During the week, traders offer fluctuated in a narrow range about 50-100 RMB/ ton,, and the market inquiry was general. Since August, the operating load of units in the SBR industry has decreased slightly, and the pressure on the supply side has eased.
The raw material butadiene fell slightly, the price of styrene rose slightly, and the cost was divided. According to the monitoring of SunSirs, as of August 13, the price of butadiene was 10,697 RMB/ ton, down 3.65% from 11,102 RMB/ ton at the beginning of the week; On August 13, the price of styrene was 9,000 RMB/ ton, up 1.76% from 8,842 RMB/ ton at the beginning of the week.
The price of natural rubber fluctuated in a narrow range. According to the monitoring of SunSirs, as of August 13, the price of domestic natural rubber was 13,250 RMB/ ton, rebounding from late July.
SunSirs analysts believe that the current parking and maintenance plans of some enterprises alleviate the pressure on the supply side of butylbenzene. China SBR market is expected to rise tentatively in the later period.
