The ex-factory price of domestic NBR increased. According to the monitoring of SunSirs, Lanzhou Petrochemical NBR N41E reported 20,200 RMB/ ton as of August 13; 3305E quoted 21,300 RMB/ ton; Ningbo Shunze 65,000 ton/ year unit operates normally, and the manufacturer has a large inventory. The ex-factory price of NBR 3355/ 3365 was 21,300 RMB/ ton, and the ex-factory price of 3380 was 22,400 RMB/ ton. In August, the start-up of the downstream rubber products industry has not increased significantly, and the demand is mainly stable.
Butadiene, the raw material, has pulled back from its high level since late July and continued to fall last week, with weak cost support. According to the monitoring of SunSirs, as of August 13, the price of butadiene was 10,697 RMB/ ton, down 3.65% from 11,102 RMB/ ton at the beginning of the week.
SunSirs NBR analysts believe that the demand side is stable, but the cost side support is weaker. It is expected that China NBR market will be consolidated at a high level in the later stage.
