Price trend
The price of domestic ferrosilicon (grade: FeSi75～B; particle size/mm: natural block) in the main plant area of Ningxia is around 8,600-8,700 RMB/ton, and the spot price is stable at a high level.
Analysis review
On August 5th, HBIS Group released 3,100 tons of ferrosilicon bidding information in August, an increase of 1,040 tons from July; among them, Shigang 200 (-160) tons, Wugang 850 (+850) tons, Chenggang 300 (- ) tons, Xuanshan Iron and Steel 250 (-150) tons, Handan Iron and Steel 700 (-300) tons, Tangshan Iron and Steel New Area 800 (+800) tons.
At present, the spot supply in the market is still in short supply, and it is still dominated by order production. In addition to the recent repeated epidemics, transportation in some risky areas is not smooth, freight prices are rising, vehicles are difficult to find, and local policy levels continue to restrict production in the central defense area. Supported by the above-mentioned positive factors, the industry is now optimistic about this, and the willingness to raise the price is also quite strong.
