Compared with the same period last month, DMF prices increased by 12.84%, and the price changes were small compared with the same period last week.
Analysis review
Recently, the price of DMF has been stable, mainly to digest the previous increase, and the downstream purchases just on demand. The inventory is currently operating normally and will remain stable in the short term. As of the 21st, the price of DMF increased by 14.22% compared with the price at the beginning of July. Compared with the same period last week, the price did not change significantly. Compared with the same period last month, the price increased by 12.84%.
The upstream methanol is mainly operating stably, and replenishment is just on demand. The fluctuation is limited, and the market will maintain the previous trend in the short term.
On July 20, the chemical index was 1,099 points, an increase of 4 points from previous day, a record high in the cycle, and an increase of 83.78% from the lowest point of 598 points on April 8, 2020. (Note: Period refers to 2011-12-01 till now)
