The Australian Customs and Border Protection Service has launched an antidumping review on PVC resin imports from the US and Japan, it said in a statement Monday.
Chemiplas Australia, an importer of PVC, lodged an application last month requesting the review, it said.
PVC imports from Japan are currently subject to a 5% anti-dumping duty, which expires October 21 this year according to the statement, which did not provide details on imports from the US.
Interested parties can send in written submissions on the review by April 4.
