Domestic dichloromethane supply pressure is not great. According to SunSirs, the load of the Jinling Dongying methane chloride plant is currently being overhauled, Jinmao Chemical is shutting down, Luxi Chemical is operating at high load, and Dongyue Chemical is operating at 60% of the load.
With the arrival of peak season, the supply of downstream refrigerants has increased, and the demand has supported the price of dichloromethane. In addition, the price of liquid chlorine as raw material has been rising recently, and the cost side has more support. According to the monitoring of SunSirs, as of April 12, the mainstream ex-factory price of liquid chlorine for tank trucks in Shandong was around 2,300 RMB/ton.
