Norway's total sales of petroleum products fell 13.3% to 620 million liters in October compared to the same month last year, according to Statistics Norway on Thursday.
For gasoline sales, the statistics office said the volume stood at the same level of 80 million liters.
Sales of diesel amounted to 246 million liters - a fall of 15 million liters compared to October last year.
The country's statistics authority has produced data collated from the Norwegian Ministry of Trade, the Norwegian Petroleum Institute and oil companies since 1973.
