The Buzzard oil field's contribution to key North Sea's Forties Blend crude was marginally up in the week to Sunday, Forties pipeline operator Ineos said Wednesday.
Buzzard contributed 31% to the Forties stream in the week ending January 20, slightly up from the previous week when it was 30%.
Based on the content of the sour stream Buzzard, the sulfur content of the Forties Blend rose just above 0.68% while the grade's API was between 39 and 39.6, according to a conversion table on Ineos' website.
Forties Blend unstabilized crude output should average 416,700 b/d in January, 424,400 b/d in February, 411,700 b/d in March and 402,800 in April according to Ineos.
Buzzard's share of Forties output was expected to average 32.9% in January, 31.8% in February and in March and 34.0% in April, according to Ineos.
