Brazilian iron ore exports to China in November totaled 19.91 million mt, up 2% above year on year, ministry of trade and development data showed Wednesday.
China accounted for 59% of Brazil's 33.96 million mt of total ore exports in November.
The sales value of the shipments to China was $995 million FOB, up 24% from November 2017, as the average price increased to $49.93/mt FOB from $40.84/mt FOB.
Malaysia received the second-largest volume of exports at 2.34 million mt, an increase of 60%, while the sales value rose 85% to $114 million.
