Some 662,000 barrels of RBOB and 1.186 million barrels of heating oil are set for delivery against the respective recently expired NYMEX November RBOB and heating oil contracts, according to the CME Group Wednesday.
The latest RBOB deliveries reflected a 55,000-barrel rise from October; the November heating oil deliveries pointed to a 745,000-barrel decline from October, the data on the CME's website showed.
In 2010, some 721,000 barrels of RBOB were delivered against the November contract, while 1.370 million barrels were delivered against the November heating oil contract.
BP will supply all of the 662,000 RBOB barrels that are to be delivered in November.
Newedge USA will receive 200,000 barrels, BNP Paribas 388,000 barrels, JP Morgan 34,000 barrels and Citigroup 40,000 barrels.
Of the 1.186 million barrels of heating oil barrels to be delivered in November, BP will supply 361,000 barrels, Newedge USA 668,000 barrels BNP Paribas 7,000 barrels and Barclays 150,000 barrels.
Macquarie Futures USA will get 80,000 barrels, Newedge USA 605,000 barrels, BNP Paribas 300,000 barrels and Citigroup 201,000 barrels.
The NYMEX RBOB and heating oil futures contracts expire on the last business day of each calendar month, and barrels delivered against the contract are determined shortly thereafter.
