Gasoline and gasoil inventories at independent refineries in Shandong Province totaled 247,000mt on Oct 17, down by 9,000mt or 3.5% from two weeks ago, according to C1 survey.
The inventory of gasoline was 165,000mt, down by 6,000mt or 3.5%; gasoil inventory fell by 3,000mt or 3.5% to 82,000mt, C1 survey showed.
Gasoline and gasoil sales were good after state-owned oil giants limited wholesales amid reduced retail ceilings, market sources said.
C1's research involves 20 independent refineries, and their topping capacities amounted to 50.1-mil mt per year, accounting for 79.4% of the whole crude processing capacity of independent refineries in Shandong.
