An unplanned outage at the Stublach gas storage facility in northwest England has been extended to September 30 from the initial expected return date of June 1, a note on National Grid's remit website said Friday morning.
Outage now finishing September 30, delayed from June 1
Withdrawal capacity cut by 4.924 million cu/d
North Morecambe outage extended by one more day
The outage, which started on May 8 due to a compressor issue, has cut withdrawal capacity by 4.92 million cu m/d from the total technical withdrawal capacity of 9.76 million cu m/d, the note said.
Another, unrelated outage at North Morecambe Barrow terminal was extended by a day to May 15, Centrica's remit note said Friday.
The outage started April 21 and was initially expected to finish on the same day, but has been repeatedly extended with the previous revision for May 14.
According to Centrica, "technical process issues" caused the maintenance which cut terminal's throughput by its full technical capacity of 7.7 million cu m/d.
