A second settlement has been reported for the May European contract price of toluene at $800/mt FOB NWE, the buyer and the seller involved said Tuesday.
This came after no settlements were reported in April, following two settlements in March at $715/mt.
The second CP settlement was done at the same level as the first settlement for May, reported Monday by another buyer.
The upside moves in the toluene CP were largely down to bullishness in the oil complex, with Brent crude futures hovering around $74/b.
The toluene 5-30 day spot price was last assessed Monday at $803/mt CIF ARA, stable on the day.
