PetroChina lowered ex-refinery prices of both gasoline and gasoil by Yuan 300/mt on Oct 9, in line with drops in government-capped retail ceiling prices, according to sources with subsidiary refineries of the refiner.
In Northeast China, the average ex-refinery price is Yuan 8,090/mt for 90-Ron gasoline and Yuan 7,460/mt for zero pour point gasoil. In Northwest China, the price is Yuan 8,006/mt for gasoline and Yuan 7,386/mt for gasoil. In North China, the price is Yuan 8,130/mt for gasoline and Yuan 7,500/mt for gasoil.
China cut oil product prices on Oct 9, the first cuts since June 2010.
